Erika Godínez is the managing attorney in the firm’s Mexico City office and focuses her practice on civil and mercantile law litigation, as well as the appeals and constitutional
amparo claims related thereto. Erika has a broad background in a number of areas, and has significant professional experience in family law, where she practiced before the family law courts, as well as corporate and finance law, where she held various positions of responsibility within a Commercial Law Notary. Erika has particular expertise in the review and analysis of legal instruments subject to public registration, especially those related to title to property.
Erika has represented a variety of corporate clients, including foreign investment funds, in the due diligence, evaluation, and acquisition of large industrial and residential developments, the acquisition of title insurance, and the defense of their legal rights in Mexican courts.
